CNSM Transfer Students
Welcome to CSULB, the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM), and the Jensen Student Access to Science and Mathematics Center! We want to help you, the newest members of our CNSM community, acclimate to life at The Beach and be successful during your college years. The Transfer Student's Passport to Success [.pdf] outlines important deadlines and requirements needed to get started here at CSULB.
Transfer students are required to attend SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration), the University-sponsored orientation program. The SOAR session designated for Natural Science and Mathematics majors is Monday, July 19, 2010. This specific session is designed to introduce you to CNSM advisors, faculty, staff, facilities, and resources that will increase your success at CSULB.
If you have not done so already, you are encouraged to register for this SOAR date, in order to ensure that the courses you wish to enroll in are available. You can start signing up for SOAR workshops in late April. Space is limited.
Transfer Students: What Do You Do Next?
If you have any questions, please contact the Jensen Student Access to Science and Mathematics Center, at (562) 985-4682. We look forward to meeting and working with you!
