Information for Postbaccalaureate Students
Thank you for your interest in Post-baccalaureate study at California State University, Long Beach. CSULB accepts applications for a second B.A./B.S. only, from highly qualified applicants to the Direct Entry BSN/MSN program, for Engineering, Math/Natural Sciences majors (excluding Biology majors), and Radiation Therapy majors. Post-baccalaureate students who wish to complete the prerequisites for a health profession program can declare a Natural Sciences major. Visit http://www.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/admissions/application_status.html for admission deadlines.
If you wish to take a few courses but do not want to pursue a second degree as a CSULB student, you may enroll in courses through the College of Continuing and Professional Education, which allows non-matriculated students to enroll in courses with the permission of the instructor through “Open University”. Extension services also offer summer school sessions for CSULB. For information on summer sessions or Open University, go to http://www.ccpe.csulb.edu/OpenUniversity/.
