Bridges to the Baccalaureate Participants 2009

The National Institutes of Health has awarded a program designed to strengthen the relationship that exists between two key community colleges, Long Beach City College and Cerritos Community College, and CSULB. The major focus of this summer program is to enhance the students’ academic competitiveness. Selected students and faculty spend 9 weeks in the summer in CSULB laboratories participating in hands-on research. These experiences also provide a unique opportunity to take advantage of the latest scientific information through special seminars and field trips with industry partners. Bridges students are also provided with individualized mentoring and career advisory activities. We are excited to accept applications for the 2009 edition of Bridges to the Baccalaureate. Applications can be downloaded by clicking the links below.
